Hyaluron Pen, the technique!

                Hyaluron Pen, the technique!

Hyaluron Pen

Hyaluron Pen technique: we followed the "Hyaluron Pen training" class and we bring you back what we learned!

The Hyaluron Pen is a device used in aesthetic medicine. As the name suggests, the Hyaluron Pen (or Hyaluronic Pen) has a pen-like appearance.

It works on a pressure system for injecting hyaluronic acid without a needle to plump the lips. It is also used to treat fine lines, wrinkles, and signs of skin aging.

This spring-loaded pen sends hyaluronic acid through compressed air. Hyaluronic acid is injected subcutaneously at a speed of 800 km / h, unlike needle injections where it can be introduced more deeply. After propulsion, hyaluronic acid is absorbed and distributed evenly.

Please note: the results last less than those obtained by conventional needle injection at a doctor's office.

What equipment do you need to practice the Hyaluron Pen?

  • 1 Hyaluron Pen 0.3 mm
  • 1 empty sterile 0.3 mm ampoule (also called a "cartridge")
  • 1 ampoule of product to be injected: Hyaluronic acid injectable without lidocaine or Biorevitalizing cocktail
  • Syringe and long needle-type IM for the transfer of material (or transfer needle)
  • Cotton
  • Biseptin
  • Gloves

The step-by-step technique for practicing the Hyaluron Pen

First, the trainer gave us some "tips":

  1. The crosslinking of Hyaluronic Acid is a more important criterion than its concentration!
  2. Avoid using a Hyaluron Pen 2 in 1 with an interchangeable head. Hyaluron Pen 0.3 is suitable for injecting pure Hyaluronic Acid, it will provide more details during the gesture. Hyaluron Pen 0.5 is intended for Hydration and not for injection to create volume.
  3. Cotton must be placed between the lips and teeth to protect the teeth during the pulse.
  4. Do not inject more than 0.03 ml per injection
  5. Do not inject at the corner of the lips
  6. Do not inject into the mucous membrane (moist internal part of the lip)

Preparation for injection with Hyaluron Pen: instructions for use

- It is imperative to work in impeccable hygienic conditions. The area must be sterile, without coming and going in the room, the practitioner must have gloves and a mask. He must place cotton under the patient's lips before starting the session.

- The choice of hyaluronic acid is a crucial step to a nice result. Carefully choose Hyaluronic Acid according to the injection area. For the lips, it is the Hyamira forte that the trainer recommended to us.

Warning: an injectable ampoule must be sterile, and have the CE standard to be able to be used.

- Inject the contents of the pre-filled hyaluronic acid syringe into the empty sterile ampoule, compatible with the Hyaluron Pen.

If your hyaluronic acid is in a vial, place the syringe on the end of the ampoule. Immerse the needle in the hyaluronic acid and withdraw by pulling the stem of the ampoule upwards. You can use a syringe with an IM needle to aspirate the hyaluronic acid and repackage it in the empty ampoule, compatible with the Hyaluron Pen

Hyaluron Pen

If your hyaluronic acid is in a pre-filled syringe, inject the hyaluronic acid from the syringe directly into the ampoule.

Please note that you must first remove the rod present in the bulb. it is advisable to inject 0.25ml into a 0.3ml ampoule to then be able to put the rod back without any problem and avoid losses.

- Reinsert the rod into the bulb, there should be no air bubbles present. The rod ensures the correct pressure of the gel.

- Screw the bulb on the Hyaluron Pen.

- Start the injection session by pressure Hyaluron Pen of 0.02 ml in 0.02 ml maximum.

The Hyaluron Pen injection session: progress

- Charge the Hyaluron Pen to activate the pressure.

- Adjust the quantity to be injected:

Doses to inject according to the desired results:

  • 0.5 ml for a natural look
  • 0.5 ml for lip correction
  • 1 ml and more for an increase in the volume of the lips

- Position the Hyaluron Pen on the injection area.

- Impulse

- Massage the area after each pulse.

How long do the results of a hyaluronic session last?

The result is not final. Hyaluronic acid is absorbed over time. The effects last between 3 to 6 months depending on various factors such as the dose and the quality of the hyaluronic acid injected but also the lifestyle of the patient.

How much does a hyaluronic cost?

There are several types of Hyaluron Pen. The price variation is justified by the technology and the quality of the hyaluronic (number of pulses, product lifespan, handling).

Hayluron pen

A newcomer to the beauty industry, the Hyaluron PEN is piquing everyone's curiosity. Its principle is however well known in medicine since it responds to the same principle as self-injections of insulins in diabetics.

Principle of Hyaluron Pen

A modern, needle-free cosmetic treatment device that gives volume to the face and reduces wrinkles without any needles entering the skin. The product penetrates the skin through pressure that spreads to the epidermis and dermis.

What is attractive with the Hyaluronpen: an injection without needles, and therefore less painful. Something to reassure the most cautious. This is because the risk of bruising is extremely low when using Hyaluron Pen. Since the procedure is not invasive, the effects and risks are also less.

The non-injectable system of fillers (injectable Hyaluronic acid) and revitalizers (multi-vitamin cocktail revitalizing the skin) without injections promise freshness and youthfulness to the skin.

The Hyaluron Pen is equipped with piston springs which allow a uniform and rapid introduction of the products used.

The microscopic hole caused by the Hyaluron Pen is twice the diameter of the needle when injecting.

What material to use the Hyaluron Pen?

The Hyaluron Pen requires to have in addition to the device, empty sterile ampoules and a syringe of the product (Hyaluronic acid or organic conditioners).

You have to empty the syringe of product into the ampoule that is suitable for the Hyaluron Pen and then screw this newly filled ampoule of product onto the Hyaluron Pen. Some use a transfer needle to transfer the product.

Which Hyaluronic Acid to inject with Hyaluron Pen?

Regarding the choice of the product to be injected, only a doctor is authorized to inject products containing Lidocaine because he must know how to perform allergy tests.

If the injector is not a doctor, he will choose a product without Lidocaine.

The Hyaluron Pen does not allow to reach the deep layers, the product will remain in the superficial dermis. It is therefore necessary to have a crosslinked Hyaluronic Acid to obtain a volumizing result and an uncrosslinked Hyaluronic Acid for the bio revitalization of the skin.

A hyaluronic acid that is too lightly crosslinked will not hold up with an injection with hyaluronic, a hyaluronic acid that is too thick will have difficulty coming out by pressure. You must therefore rely on the experience of the professionals who use it and the recommendations of your training centers.

Some examples of Hyaluronic Acid references used with HyaluronPen (for lip volume) by training centers:

Hyamira Forte: crosslinked hyaluronic acid for volume. Long-lasting and stable effect. 24mg / ml concentration. 1ml pre-filled syringe. Its texture is homogeneous. Hyamira Forte is used with the Hyaluron Pen to increase the volume of the lips.
